This is a sequel to the poem of last month and the last in the series, drawing themes from the process of a true marriage between a godly man and a godly woman.
As the two, husband and wife
Learn each other to walk together in love,
Trusting, growing, forbearing and loving,
And sharing, spending time in talking
And each other knowing,
In such an atmosphere of godly love expressed faithfully in serving,
They both are ever rejoicing and singing.
They are in love growing and each other helping
As the love of God in them is dwelling.
What a beauty to see a union – uniting,
Communion with each other is highly pleasing.
And think of, if such were possible among man and woman, faulty and broken
Being fixed by the Holy God,
Think of a walk with Christ with His church
You and I submitting.
And as with Him we are communing,
Sweeter and sweeter it grows.
It becomes Intensely Pleasing!
