THE OPENED PRISON DOOR

In a place in the year 1549, two Baptist ladies were arrested for their devotion to God and thrown into prison. One of them was taken and tortured and then put in a sack and was dragged to death. The second woman was all the more encouraged to draw closer to God. She was not discouraged in any way.

There was this faithful day that she was on her knees, praying to God, when suddenly she heard her name, but when she looked, she saw no one. She continued with her supplication when again she heard her name a second and third time.

The voice said to her to go out of the prison, and she did so. She went towards a church and there she heard some people talking about her escape from prison and promising some monetary reward to anyone that reveals where she was. Then she heard a town crier making the same announcement and she hid her self, afterwards she went to a priest's home and by night was conveyed away from that place to safety. God is faithful.
