A Token of Deliverance from the Hand that Intervenes

During the days of Queen Mary, two men were plunged into prison of Salisbury, being accused of heresy. Immediate execution was urged by the chancellor of Salisbury but the sheriffs delayed matters, thinking of the cruelty of the oppressors of the two men.

However, the chancellor pressed on for he was thirsty for i nnocent blood. Then, suddenly, he lost his life and that was how he was taken out of the way. The day he died the two men, wanted to pray according to their custom, but they burst out into tears for a while and it was at that same hour the chancellor was taken out of the way!

The next morning met the two men with this great news, and after the death of Queen Mary, they were both made free again!
